We’re situated out on Mysore Road at the Electronics Division. It’s a large site, and we’ve been here for a very long time. Most people around here just know it as the BHEL spot. It’s a big place with lots of different buildings, but our section handles the electronics side of things. The daily routine involves a lot of walking between different departments and checking on various projects. It isn't a quiet office by any means; there’s always something humming in the background or people moving equipment around. The canteen is where most of us end up during the lunch hour to catch up. The furniture in the offices is mostly the heavy, old-school kind that lasts forever. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or fancy lounges. It’s a workplace meant for real engineering and technical tasks. The traffic on Mysore Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early. It’s an honest place to work, filled with people who have been doing this for decades. We just focus on the electrical components and making sure the systems are running right. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if the paint is peeling a bit in some corners. The clocks on the walls don't always show the same time, and there’s a constant stack of technical manuals that need filing, but that's just part of the everyday life here at the division.
