Running a place on 100 Feet Road means there is always noise from outside. At 14/A, we are right in the thick of Koramangala and the traffic never stops. Inside, it is mostly the sound of sewing machines. We have piles of fabric everywhere right now. Sometimes the thread gets tangled and we spend the morning fixing it. It is just how it goes with clothes. We make various garments here. It is not a boutique, just a workshop where things get done. The light isn't great in the back corner, but we manage. We have been at this address for a bit now. People stop by asking for quick fixes, but mostly we are busy with larger batches. The tea guy comes by at eleven. That is usually our break. The floor is covered in small scraps of cloth by the end of the day. We sweep it up before heading home. It involves a lot of cutting and measuring. Sometimes we get the measurements wrong and have to start over. It happens. The traffic on 100 Feet Road is a nightmare in the evenings. We try to finish before it gets too bad. It is a basic setup. We have the machines, the tables, and enough work to keep us here until late most nights. We don't have fancy signs, just the work. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never find the time to do it. It is just a busy place where people work hard and the tea is always hot.
