Our office is on the ground floor of the Promenade Winds Apartment in Dasarahalli. It is unit number 2, so it’s easy enough to find once you get inside the gate. Karnataka is a big place, and this part of Bangalore can get really busy with all the traffic and people moving around. We have been running Berggruen Car Rental from this spot for a while now. It’s not a big car lot like you see on TV. It is more of a small office where we handle all the keys and the paperwork for the vehicles. Sometimes the parking out front gets a bit crowded, which can be a headache, but we make it work. The apartment building itself is fairly new and kept in okay shape. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to people who drop by to pick up a car. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any flashy advertisements or anything like that. Just some desks and a computer to keep track of everything. The staff here is small, just a few of us who know the area well. It gets a bit dusty with the construction nearby, but that’s just how things are in this part of town lately. We just focus on keeping the cars ready and getting the paperwork done right. We usually drink tea from the shop next door while waiting for customers. It is a simple life for us here.
