We are tucked away in the Prestige Montecarlo Apartments here in Yelahanka Newtown. It’s actually a pretty quiet spot if you ignore the traffic on Doddaballapur Road. Most of us just call it the Givenchy block. Working out of 6501 means we see the same faces every morning in the elevator. It doesn’t feel like a big corporate office at all. It’s more like a flat where things get done. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Some days the rain makes the road a bit of a mess, but that’s just how it is around here. Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd might sound official, but on the ground, we are just people trying to keep up with the day. The building is 73 Doddaballapur Road and honestly, it’s easy to find once you know which gate to enter. People often get lost looking for the specific block. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to folks. It’s a busy life but we like being in this part of town. Yelahanka has grown so much lately. Sometimes we grab tea nearby and just watch the cars go by. It is a mix of living and working that seems to suit us just fine. There isn't any fancy lobby here, just the apartment entrance and our door. It keeps things simple and keeps us focused on what we need to do every day without too much fuss.
