Bcd Travel

I'm at the Bcd Travel office on 7th Cross in Bangalore. It's a bit tucked away in this part of town, but once you find the 23rd building, it's easy. I've been working here for a while now. The street outside is always full of bikes and people walking by to the shops. Inside, it's just a normal room with a few old desks and some chairs that squeak a bit. We spend most of our time looking at flight screens and trying to find the right routes for people who come in. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just sit there waiting for the page to load while chatting about the traffic. It’s not a fancy place with posters and lights. It’s just where we do the work. Bangalore is busy, so there’s always someone calling about a trip or asking where their ticket is. I usually have a stack of papers on my desk that I need to file away. We take turns going out to get tea in the afternoon. It's just a regular job in a regular part of Karnataka. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we're right there at our computers. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all day. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two of sitting here.
