Basics Life

Basics Life is at number 28 on Assaye Road, right near the junction with Brigade Road. This part of Bangalore is always buzzing with activity. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can be, especially on weekends when everyone is out and about. Our shop is in a spot that sees a lot of people walking by on their way to other places. We spend our mornings opening up the shop and getting the displays ready. It is a lot of folding and re-folding, to be honest. The building has its own character, and we try to keep our space clean and functional. We don't go in for any of that corporate talk; we are just regular people working here. Most of our day is spent dealing with the stock and helping out whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the weather in Bangalore changes so fast that we have to run to pull things inside if it starts raining suddenly. We get our coffee from a small place nearby and usually chat with the other workers on the street during our breaks. It is a good place to be because there is always something to see out the window. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, keeping things simple and honest for everyone who drops by the shop. It works for us and keeps the days moving.
