You can find us on the 3rd floor of the building at No 352 in Basaveshwaranagar. It is located on the 8th Main in the 4th Block, which is a fairly busy and active part of the neighborhood. Being up on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, but mostly we are just looking at our computer monitors all day. We are certainly not one of those massive tech companies with bean bags and free snacks in every corner. Our office is pretty basic with standard desks, computers, and a whole lot of cables running around the floor. We deal with software and mapping data, which involves a lot of sitting and concentrating for very long hours at a stretch. Sometimes we have to stay late when a project is giving us trouble, and we usually end up ordering some food from the small place downstairs. The elevator in the building works most of the time, but we usually just take the stairs to keep ourselves moving. It is a small team here, so everyone knows exactly what everyone else is doing. We do not have many formal meetings; we usually just talk over the partitions or while we are making a pot of coffee in the morning. Basaveshwaranagar is a nice area to be in, away from the extreme rush of the city center but still with plenty of things going on. We just come in, do our work, and head home to our families like everyone else here.
