Basavaraj & Dileep

You can find Basavaraj & Dileep over in the Madhu Complex at 14 vishveshwaraiah Puram. It’s an older building, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. It isn't a huge office, just enough room for the two of us and a couple of assistants to get things done. We don't have fancy carpets or a coffee machine that does anything special. Most mornings start with just opening the shutters and letting some air in before the sun gets too high. The complex can get pretty busy with people coming and going from the other shops, so there’s always something happening in the hallway. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking through ledgers. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes we go out for lunch at the little place down the street, but mostly we just eat at our desks. We’ve known each other for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the day started. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we just added pieces as we needed them over the years. People know they can just drop in if they need to talk to us about something. We don't make a big fuss about things. It’s just a standard office where we do our business and try to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved. We usually close up early on Saturdays if the work is finished.
