Basanth Residency

Our place, Basanth Residency, is tucked away in Ganganagar Extension. We are over here at Number 30 on 5th Main, right in that Byrappa S Compound area. It is a quiet enough spot if you ignore the usual city noise. We have been running things here for a while, just me and a few others helping out. It’s not a huge place, which makes it easier for us to keep an eye on everything. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the rooms are decent for whoever stays with us. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we need to paint a wall, so there is always a list of chores to do. Living and working in the same area means we know the neighbors pretty well. Bangalore 560 032 has grown quite a bit lately. We see people coming for all sorts of reasons. Some stay for a day, others a bit longer. We don't have a big front desk with fancy uniforms or anything like that. It’s more just us being here to give out keys and make sure the gates are locked at night. The 5th Cross can get a bit narrow with cars parked everywhere, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We just try to keep the place tidy and functional. It’s a simple life, really. We just get on with the work and try to be helpful when someone asks for something.
