Bappana & Giri

We are based on the second floor of Amar Towers. It’s right there on the 2nd Cross in Gandhi Nagar. The building is one of those typical multi-story places where you have all sorts of different businesses on every floor. We’ve been at number 1 for quite a while now. Getting up to the second floor is basically part of our daily exercise routine since the lift can be a bit temperamental and slow. The office itself is quite plain and simple. We have some wooden desks that have definitely seen better days and a few bookshelves filled with heavy ledgers and old documents. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except for the constant sound of the ceiling fans spinning overhead. Gandhi Nagar is always humming with activity, and we can hear the street noise drifting up through the windows all day long. We don't have a lot of fancy decor or art on the walls. There might be a few old calendars hanging up or a wall clock that usually runs a few minutes fast. We spend our time going through papers and meeting with people who stop by the office. It’s a very grounded sort of place to work. Most of us have our own ways of organizing our space, so some desks are neat while others are buried under piles of folders. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day.
