Pmt Pressing

Down at No. 139/1 in Bilekahalli, near the IIM post on Bannerghatta Road, you’ll find our workshop. Pmt Pressing has been at this location for a good while. The work we do involves a lot of heavy machinery and a fair bit of noise. It’s a dusty environment, and it gets quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. Most of our time is spent at the presses, making sure everything is aligned just right. It’s the kind of work that leaves your hands dirty by the end of the shift. We aren't a huge corporation with a fancy office. My desk is right there in the corner of the shop floor, covered in diagrams and empty tea cups. Traffic on Bannerghatta Road can be a nightmare, so arriving early is the only way to beat the rush. Our team is small, mostly people from the surrounding neighborhoods who have been with us for years. Big ads or marketing people aren't something we spend money on. We just focus on the machines and getting the orders done on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the night fixing it ourselves. That’s just part of the life when you own the place. We just do the work ourselves and keep the noise going. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours and it works for what we need.
