Banglore Metropolitan Transport Corporation(Contract Basis)

We work out of No 1, Shivaji Road, right at the 3rd Cross in Shivajinagar. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, 560051. Our setup is part of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation, specifically on a contract basis. If you’ve ever been to Shivajinagar, you know it’s always loud and there’s always something happening on the streets. We’re right in the middle of all that. Working on a contract basis means things can be a bit different than the regular permanent staff, but the work is still the same. We deal with the buses and the transport side of things. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of dealing with schedules and people. Some days the buses are on time, some days they aren’t, and we’re the ones who have to hear about it. We’ve been at this location for a while. The office isn't anything to brag about, just some desks and chairs and a lot of files. It’s a practical environment. We don't have time for corporate slogans. We just need to make sure the transport system keeps moving as best as it can. Bangalore is a huge city and people need to get around. That’s what we focus on here at Shivaji Road. It’s tiring work but it’s what we do for the city. We keep the registers updated and manage the crews day in and day out.
