Bangalore Internatiol Airport Ltd

Our office is out in Bangalore North, specifically on the Hasahalli Road in Hunasanmaranhalli. It’s right off the NH7, so you can hear the big trucks and buses going by all day long. This is where a lot of the background work for the airport happens. It’s a big, dusty area and there’s always some construction going on nearby. The office itself is pretty functional. We have rows of desks and a lot of maps on the walls. It’s not the fancy terminal where the passengers go; it’s more of the nuts and bolts side of things. We deal with land issues, roads, and all the stuff that people don't think about when they fly. The wind blows a lot of red dust in through the doors if we leave them open. We have a small canteen where we get lunch, and the food is okay, nothing special. A lot of the staff have been working on airport projects for years. We spend a lot of time in meetings talking about runways and fences. It’s a long commute for most of us since we’re so far out of the main city. But we like the space. It feels like things are always moving out here. We don't have any polished brochures to show you. Just hard work and a lot of planning for the future of the flights in and out of the city. We just stay busy with the details.
