Bangalore Infomedia

Frazer Town gets pretty busy, especially on Ashram Road where we are. Bangalore Infomedia is just a small place here at 29/3. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Most days it’s just us sitting around the computers, trying to get through the pile of work on the desks. The windows don't always shut right, so you hear the traffic all afternoon. It’s mostly just a lot of typing and talking on the phone. Sometimes we go out for tea when things get too quiet. The sign outside is a bit faded but people find us eventually. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just an office with some old chairs and a lot of cables everywhere. Usually, the morning starts with someone trying to fix the printer. It’s not a corporate setup, just a bunch of us doing what we need to do. Some of the guys have been here since the start. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. The tea seller at the corner knows exactly how we like our drinks. It’s just how it is here. Nothing too special to look at, but it’s where we spend our ten hours every day. Sometimes it gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. By the time it’s evening, the road gets even louder with all the bikes. We just pack up and head home like everyone else.
