Balkishore Dayal

I am over here in HSR Layout, Sector 1. The office is on the second floor of building 55, right on the 1St Cross. Bangalore is a very fast city these days, but HSR still has its own kind of neighborhood vibe. It is busy, sure, but there are still some trees left and places where you can walk. I moved into this space because it was central enough for what I do every day. Being on the second floor means I get to see the street life below without being right in the middle of all the dust and noise. It is a decent sized room for one person. I have got my computer, a printer that jams way too often, and a couple of metal filing cabinets for the records. Balkishore is my name, and I have been at this for a few years now. It took a while to get everything set up exactly the way I wanted it. I spend a lot of my time on the phone or answering emails from people all over. Sometimes people just walk up the stairs and knock on the door, which is fine with me. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice enough that I can keep the windows open most of the year. It is not a corporate environment. There are no uniforms or strict rules about what time I have to leave. I just come in, do the work, and go home when I am finished.
