We are over in Murgeshpalya, specifically on the second floor of New Venkateswar Nilay on Church Street. It’s a bit of a maze getting to Samanna Lane if you aren't used to these Bangalore side streets. Room 24 is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Being a software company, you might expect a lot of glowing lights and high-tech gadgets, but it’s actually pretty plain inside. We have our computers and some uncomfortable chairs, and that’s about it. The traffic outside is always a nightmare, so most of us get here early and leave late just to avoid the worst of it. We work on various coding projects and technical stuff, but we talk about normal things like cricket or where to get the best lunch nearby. It’s a small crew, so we all know each other's habits well. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and it’s a minor disaster for the whole morning. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to tell us how to sound professional. We just write code and try to fix bugs before the day ends. It’s a practical way to earn a living in a city that never seems to stop growing. The building isn't new, but it’s got everything we need to stay focused on the task. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished without much trouble or any fancy words.
