Babeque Nation Indiranagar (A Unit Of Sayaji Hotel)

Down here on 100 Feet Road in Indiranagar, things stay pretty loud and fast. This is Barbeque Nation, which is part of the Sayaji Hotel group, but mostly we just think of ourselves as the team in Bangalore-38. We spend a lot of time around the grills. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially when the evening crowd starts showing up. There are a lot of skewers to prepare and tables to clear. Indiranagar is a place where everyone is always going somewhere, so we see a lot of different faces every single day. We don’t really do the corporate talk thing. We just focus on getting the coals hot and making sure the food is ready. Sometimes we run out of napkins or a table wobbles, and we just fix it. It is honest work. The 2nd Stage area is always buzzing, and being right on the main road means we are always in the middle of it. We keep our heads down and handle the orders. There isn't a lot of time for sitting around. We have our routine. The morning starts with deliveries, then we set up the dining area. By the time the sun goes down, it’s all hands on deck. We are just a bunch of people working at a restaurant. It’s a unit of a larger hotel, but here in Indiranagar, it’s just our daily life.
