B P Rao & Co operates out of an office at No. 5 on Poorna Prasad Road. This is in the High Ground area of Bangalore, which is a pretty central spot to be in. The building is kind of old, but it has that character you only get in these parts of town. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, handling the daily routines that come with this kind of work. It’s mostly about keeping records straight and making sure everything is filed correctly. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. It’s just us doing the work every day. When people walk in, they see a normal office with stacks of papers and people busy on their phones or computers. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a question, even if things are a bit busy. The traffic around High Ground can be a mess, so we usually just stay put once we get in for the day. It’s a steady job, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the regulars who come by for help. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just doing a decent job for the people who need our services. It's a simple setup, and that's how we prefer it. No need to make things more complicated than they already are. We just keep our heads down and get through the stack of work that is on our desks today.
