We are tucked away at the Inquilab Society Corner in Panchwati, Jayanagar. It’s a small spot, number 76, but it works for us. Most of what we do involves looking through tiny magnifying glasses at circuit boards. People come in with phones that have screens looking like spider webs or batteries that gave up months ago. It’s quiet work in some ways, but the shop can get crowded when three or four people are all waiting for their repairs at once. There isn't much room for a big sofa, so people usually just lean against the counter while we work. We have bins full of old cables and screws that are so small you can barely see them. B M Mobile Solution started because we just liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now it’s our daily routine. The corner spot is good because we see everyone coming and going from the society. Sometimes we spend more time chatting with neighbors than actually fixing phones. The light in here is bright so we can see the small parts, but it makes the shop feel a bit like a lab. We don't have a big sign with neon lights, just a simple one so people know where to find us. It’s a decent way to earn a living in Jayanagar, and we keep things pretty casual around here.
