B H Shamanna

We’ve been here at Nrupathunga Road for a good while now. Our office is up on the fourth floor of the Maharshi Aravinda Bhavan annex. If you know the area, it’s right next to the Reserve Bank, which makes it easy enough for people to find us. It gets pretty busy around here with all the traffic and people moving about, but we like the energy of the city center. Most days we just get in early, climb those stairs or take the lift, and get started on whatever work is piled up on the desks. It isn't a fancy place with modern glass walls or anything like that, just a regular office where we do our thing. We have been part of this neighborhood long enough that the local tea stall guys know us by name. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so we end up chatting in the lobby for a bit. It’s just how things go here. We handle our daily tasks without making much of a fuss. The view from the annex isn't exactly scenic, mostly just roofs and other buildings, but it feels like home to us after all these years. We just focus on getting the job done and heading home when the sun goes down. It's a simple setup really, no big corporate slogans or anything like that, just B H Shamanna doing what needs to be done every day.
