Ayyappa Tours And Travels is based at 97 Shivaji Nagar 2nd Main Road, which is very close to Commercial Street. Being near such a famous shopping area means there is always a crowd outside and cars honking constantly. Our office is a small room where we handle all the bookings and travel arrangements. It’s usually pretty hectic, especially on weekends when everyone wants to go somewhere for the holidays. We have a few maps on the wall and a desk that is always piled with logbooks and keys. Most of the time we are on the phone or talking to drivers about their schedules. It’s not a quiet job, and things change at the last minute all the time. Shivaji Nagar is a place that never really sleeps, so we are used to the noise and the fast pace. We don't try to make the office look like a corporate headquarters because that's just not who we are. It’s a functional space where we try to keep the cars running and the schedules on time. People walk in off the street all the time asking about prices or where they can go for a quick trip. We just give them the information straight and see if we can make it work. It’s a lot of juggling different tasks, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the ropes and get people where they need to go safely.
