Axotics

Axotics is over here at 69/1 Hanumanthnagar Khardwadi, right in the Pimpri area. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but this part of town has its own rhythm and I like it. I ended up here because the rent was manageable and there was enough space for what I needed to do without feeling cramped. The building is older, you can tell by the way the walls are plastered, but it’s sturdy enough for our needs. I spend most of my time in the back room where it's a bit quieter than the storefront. Outside, there’s always someone moving something on a cart or kids playing when school gets out. Hanumanthnagar is one of those places where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. I didn’t want a big shiny office in a glass building; that’s just not how I work. Here, if a customer comes in, we just sit on the plastic chairs and talk about what they need for as long as it takes. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour in the afternoon, but we just open the windows and wait it out. It’s just me and a helper most days. We keep our tools and supplies on the metal shelving I put up last year. It’s not perfectly organized, but I know where everything is. The sign outside is a little faded from the sun, but it still says the name clearly.
