We are up here on the first floor of Ramgopal Towers in Lakkasandra. Most days it’s just the sound of computers humming and someone making tea in the back corner. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Outside, the street is always busy with people heading to work or stopping for snacks at the stalls down the road. Sometimes the traffic noise drifts up, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend our time looking at data and trying to get through the daily pile of emails. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, really. Someone usually brings in biscuits around four o'clock, which is the highlight for most of us. Finding a parking spot near the building is always a struggle, so most of us just take the bus or walk from the main stop. The light in here is a bit dim during the rainy season, but it’s a decent place to spend the day. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and know the local shopkeepers by name. It isn't a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and the people here are alright. We just keep our heads down and get the work done before heading home in the evening rush.
