Aviva India Life Insurance has this office over in Bangalore, specifically at 20/2 on the second floor of 6th A Cross. It’s in the 560047 area of Karnataka. Bangalore is a big city, and our little corner on 6th A Cross is just one small part of the map. We’re on the second floor, so we’re slightly removed from the direct noise of the street, though you can still hear the traffic and the horns if the windows are open. The office is pretty standard. We’ve got desks, chairs, and lots of files because insurance involves a fair amount of paperwork. People come in to talk about their policies or file claims, and we do our best to help them out without making things too complicated. It’s a straightforward environment. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a place where we do our jobs every day. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, with people heading to work and local shops opening up. We’ve been here long enough to know the regular faces around the building. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but it gets a bit stuffy in the office during the warmer months when the air doesn't move much. We just keep the fans going and stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s not the most exciting place to work, but it’s where we are and we’ve made ourselves at home in this part of the city. We keep the paperwork moving and try to stay organized.
