If you know Bannerghatta Road, you know how busy it gets. That is where Aviance Software Ind Pvt Ltd is based. We spend a lot of our time looking out at the traffic while we figure out code or deal with client emails. It’s Bangalore, so there’s always something happening right outside the door. Our office is a practical space. We have desks, chairs, and too many cables running along the floor. We aren't really the type to have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, one of us just looks up from a screen when someone walks in. We do software work, which means a lot of sitting and quiet concentration, interrupted by the occasional loud discussion about a bug that won’t go away. It’s been a long journey getting this company running on such a major road in the city. We chose this spot because it's central, even if the commute is a headache for everyone. Most of our team has been here for a while, so we’ve grown used to the noise of the city. We don't really bother with big meetings or corporate talk. We just get the requirements and start typing. Lunch usually comes from one of the small places down the street. It’s a straightforward life here. We work on the projects until they are done, then we start the next ones. That is pretty much how it goes for us every single day. We stay late sometimes, but that is just how the software business is.
