Avankia Software Pvt Ltd is on the 2nd floor of the Tnt Tower on Infantry Road. To be specific, we’re at 17 Infantry Road, 17th Main in the 8th Block. It is a pretty central location which is nice for getting around. Our office is what you would expect for a software place, lots of computers and people staring at screens for hours at a time. It’s quiet mostly, except for the typing and the occasional meeting. Being in the Tnt Tower means we have a decent view of the street below. Infantry Road is always packed with cars and people so it’s interesting to look out the window sometimes. We spend our days writing code and trying to fix bugs that pop up in the software. It’s the kind of work that takes a lot of concentration. We have our desks set up and there are usually a few coffee mugs sitting around. We don’t really do anything flashy here. It is just a group of us working on projects and trying to get things to run smoothly. The 8th Block is a good part of town to be in and we’ve settled into this space quite well. We aren’t a massive corporation with hundreds of floors, just a dedicated team on the second floor doing our thing. It gets busy during the week but we like the pace. Software can be tricky but we just keep at it.
