Our office is tucked away in Nagarbavi, over on 2Nd Cross near the Isec Main road. If you know Bangalore, you know the traffic around here can be a real headache, especially during the monsoon rains. We are at number 28. It is a decent-sized building where we spend our hours staring at screens and writing code. It gets pretty quiet inside once everyone settles into their tasks for the morning. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some snacks for when we need a break. Most of us live fairly close by, but a few people have a long commute from the other side of the city. The furniture is a bit mismatched, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We handle a lot of software stuff, which means there are cables running all over the floor in some rooms. It’s not the kind of place you see in movies about tech companies. It is just a regular office with people working hard. We often order lunch from the small eateries nearby because nobody feels like cooking in the morning. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the street outside gets dark and silent. It is a simple setup. We know each other's habits and how we like our coffee. We just keep moving forward with the work we have on our plates.
