Atkins(India).Pvt.Ltd is over at C/O Ramaiah, 990, 13th Main. We are at 1st A Cross in the H Kalappa Block of Srinagar, Bangalore. It is a busy little corner of the world. We have been operating out of this spot for a good while. The address is a bit long, but it’s home to us. We have a lot of files and a lot of history in this building. It’s not the most modern place you’ll ever see. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have our desks crammed in, and we all know each other’s business. That’s just how a small office works. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We are just regular people doing our jobs at Atkins. We don't try to sound like we are something we are not. We handle the paperwork and the projects as they come in. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s part of the charm of being in this part of Bangalore. We just keep going. We have some old wooden chairs that creak when you sit down. But they are comfortable enough for us. We just focus on the task at hand and get through the day together. We have a small tea kettle that gets a lot of use.
