Associate

We are located at 187, C. J. V Das Road in Padmanabhanagar. It’s a nice part of Bangalore, quite residential and mostly calm during the middle of the day. As an associate here, the work varies a lot from day to day. Sometimes I’m handling phone calls from people, other times I’m just sorting through piles of documents that need filing. It’s a small operation, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, like making coffee or fixing the printer when it jams. We don't have a big sign out front or any fancy branding. It’s just a regular office space where we get things done. The traffic on Das Road can be a bit much during the morning rush, but once you’re inside, it’s quiet enough to focus on the computer screen. We’ve been in this building for a bit now. I wouldn't say the work is exciting in a movie way, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea several times a day. Most of the people around here are regulars who have lived in Padmanabhanagar for years. We don't really do the whole corporate ladder thing with titles and promotions. We just focus on what needs to happen today so we don't fall behind on the workload. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running on high. We like it here in this corner of Bangalore because it feels real.
