We set up Aspirationsarchitects & Engineers on K. Muniyappa Road, right near the Kamanahalli Main Road area. Bangalore is always growing, and being in R.S. Palaya puts us right in the middle of all that change. Our office is at number 72. It’s a place where we spend most of our time staring at drawings and calculating structures. There are usually rolls of paper and coffee mugs scattered around the tables. It’s not the tidiest office, but that’s because we are actually working on things. We handle the architectural side and the engineering parts of building projects. It’s a lot of back and forth with clients and contractors. Sometimes we have to spend the whole day on site, and other times we are stuck here trying to figure out a difficult layout. We don't go in for all those fancy marketing terms. We just try to make sure a building stands up and looks okay once it's finished. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much during rush hour, so we often stay late to avoid it. We’ve been doing this for several years now and we have a good feel for the local building codes. It’s a small team here. We know each other well and we just get on with the jobs we have.
