We are tucked away in the Doddana Industrial Estate over here in Padarayanapura. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know it gets quite crowded and loud with all the factories and workshops around. Our shop is on the 1st Main Road. Most days are spent looking at screens or opening up computer towers to see why they stopped working. It is a lot of dust and small screws that always seem to get lost on the floor. I usually have a few laptops lined up on the workbench waiting for parts to arrive. People from the nearby industries come in when their systems crash or if they need a new cable. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a workspace where we actually get our hands dirty with hardware. I started out fixing things for friends and then just ended up staying here. The tea stall around the corner is where I spend my breaks. Sometimes the software updates take forever, so there is a lot of waiting around. We handle all sorts of random tech issues, from broken screens to things that just won't turn on for no reason. It’s a bit messy with wires everywhere, but we know where everything is. The traffic on the main road can be a headache, but being right in the industrial area means there is always someone needing a quick fix for their office machine.
