You can find us over on Banswadi Road, right across from the Minerva Circle bus stop. It is a very busy spot with people always getting on and off the local buses. Our office is where we handle all the travel details that usually give people a big headache. We deal with ticket bookings, checking the latest schedules, and trying to find the best routes for long trips across the country. It is a lot of staring at computer screens and waiting for the slow pages to finally load. Sometimes the systems go down and we just have to wait it out with a cup of hot tea. We hear the buses braking and the conductors shouting all day long from the circle outside. It is not a quiet place to work, but it keeps us right in the middle of things. People come in with all sorts of plans, some wanting to go see their family and others needing to travel for urgent work. We try to make sense of the different timings and the changing prices for them. The office has some maps on the wall and stacks of old itineraries in the corner. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how to navigate the different booking sites. We have been at this 164/3 address for a long while now. It is just basic work, really.
