If you go down to 166/1 in Shivaji Nagar, you will find our shop, Asian Tools & Hardware. We are right there by the Satadhar Cross Road, which is a fairly busy intersection most days of the week. Being located at the cross road means we get a lot of people stopping in because they realized they forgot a hammer or some nails halfway through a job. It's a small place but we pack a lot into the space we have. The shelves are pretty high and we use a lot of old wooden crates to organize the smaller items. It’s dusty work, dealing with hardware, so don’t expect everything to be shiny. We’ve been at this location for a good amount of time now. The neighborhood knows us as the place to get basic stuff without a lot of fuss. Sometimes we don't have exactly what you want on the shelf, but we usually can get it in a couple of days if you aren't in a massive rush. My cousin helps out behind the counter when things get busy. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the delivery trucks to arrive. It’s just a normal local hardware store. We don't do much advertising because most people just see the sign while waiting at the traffic light on Satadhar Cross Road and wander in. It works for us and keeps the bills paid while we serve the local builders and hobbyists who live around Shivaji Nagar.
