My name is Ashwathanarayana G D and I work as an advocate. My office is located at 3 Cubbonpet Chakala on the first floor. It is inside the H H S & H M S Complex, which is a fairly well-known building in this part of town. Being on the first floor is convenient because clients don’t have to walk up too many stairs to see me. The complex itself is always full of activity with other offices and people moving around. Inside my space, it’s mostly just books and stacks of legal papers that I’ve collected over my years of practice. It’s not a modern, glass-walled office. It’s more of a traditional setup with heavy desks and old wooden cupboards. Cubbonpet is a busy area, and the noise from the Chakala side can be quite loud in the afternoons. I’ve spent a lot of time in this complex, and I know most of the other people working here. We just go about our business day by day. I don’t use any marketing tricks or try to sound like a big corporate law firm. I just sit here, read my files, and talk to the people who come in for help. It’s a lot of reading and writing, which is just part of the job. The H H S & H M S Complex has its own rhythm, and I’ve become a part of it over time. I just keep the door open and wait for the day to start.
