Ashraya International Hotel

You can find us at the Kalamma Building in Ramamoorthy Nagar. We are right on the first floor, just across from the Sudha Sagar place. It’s a local spot in Bangalore that’s always buzzing with traffic. T. Pradeep Kumar is usually around the office area. The hotel isn't one of those five-star places you see in the movies. It’s a practical building for people who need a place to stay without spending too much. The stairs can be a bit steep and the paint is peeling a little in the corners. We do our own maintenance mostly. Our rooms are basic but they have what you need. In the mornings, you can hear the street noise starting up early. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a piano. It’s just a desk where we keep the guest book and the keys. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low on the top floor but we try to fix it quickly. Most of the people who stay here are traveling for work or visiting relatives nearby. We know the shopkeepers on this street and we usually get our coffee from the place downstairs. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of business. We don’t use fancy slogans. We just rent out the rooms and make sure the sheets are clean for the next person.
