Ashok Haranahalli

I’m Ashok Haranahalli and my office is at 558 RMV 2nd Stage, right near that Canara Bank ATM that everyone uses for their cash. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood most of the time, which is good for the kind of work I do here because I need to focus. I spend a lot of my time sitting at the desk, going through files and meeting with people who drop by for advice or to drop off some documents for me to look at. The ATM nearby is a good landmark, so people rarely get lost trying to find the place when they come for the first time. I’ve been in this spot for several years now, and the room is filled with books and old folders that I probably should organize better one of these days. It’s just a simple professional setup, nothing fancy or over-the-top like those big offices downtown. Usually, I’m here from the morning until the evening, unless I have to go out for a meeting somewhere else in the city or go to court. The trees outside give a bit of shade, which makes the walk from the car a bit nicer in the summer heat. I don’t have a big staff, just me and someone to help with the typing and the door. People like the fact that it’s a local office where they can just come and talk without a lot of fuss or appointments. It’s a straightforward way of doing things, and it seems to work out fine. I just keep the door open.
