I have been based here at 75 Mahatma Gandhi Road for a while now. Most people know this building as the Deccan Herald office. It is right in the middle of everything. I usually get in early before the traffic on MG Road really picks up, which is a bit of a nightmare if you leave it too late. My office space isn't anything fancy, just a desk and a few chairs where I handle my day-to-day things. People often stop by because it is such a central location for everyone. It is handy being near all the shops and banks around here. Sometimes I find myself looking out the window at the crowds below instead of finishing my paperwork. There is a lot of history in this part of town and you can feel it in the old walls of the building. I try to keep things organized but there is always a stack of papers somewhere that needs looking at. It gets noisy outside with the buses and people shouting, but you get used to it after a week or two. If you are coming to find me, just look for the main entrance and head up. It is easier to take the stairs if you are in a hurry. I usually keep the door open unless it is a very hot day and I have got the fan on full blast. It is just me here most of the time, keeping things moving along as best as I can.
