Asain Fancy & Gift Centre

If you live around Padarayanapura, you might have walked past our shop at 15/2. We call it Asain Fancy & Gift Centre, but mostly it is just a place where we keep shelves full of all kinds of things. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to stock a lot of different items that people might need for a birthday or just for the house. We don’t have a website or any fancy advertisements. Usually, people just see the sign while they are walking down the street and pop in to see what we have new on the shelves. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, and the lighting isn’t the best, but we know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific ribbon or a small toy, we can usually find it under a pile of other things. This is just how we run things here. Padarayanapura is a busy area, and we get all kinds of people coming in. Some stay for a long time looking at every single gift, while others are in a big rush. Quick change and fast packing are what we aim for. This is not a corporate store by any means. It’s just our little business where we spend our days. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in just to look at the shiny things. We don't mind. It feels good to be part of the street.
