As A Hostess In Raj Pavilion In Itc Windsor Mannor is a long name to have, but the office for this is over in Malleswaram. We are at No Tfg, on the 3rd Floor of Up Nest on 8th Main. It is right between 9th and 11th Cross, which is a classic part of Bangalore. Malleswaram-3 has those big trees and old houses that make it feel different from the rest of the city. The office is on the third floor, so there are a lot of stairs to climb every day. It’s a small space where we manage the schedules and the uniforms for the hostess work. We have a few mirrors and some racks for the clothes. Most of the time is spent coordinating who is going to be at the Raj Pavilion and at what time. It is a lot of talking on the phone and checking the diary. The building is a bit older, and the lift doesn't always work, so we get our exercise. We are close to the markets, so it’s easy to grab some flowers or snacks during the break. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed until a big event comes up at the ITC. Then everything gets a bit frantic and we are all running around trying to make sure the details are right. It’s a very specific kind of job, and being based in Malleswaram makes it feel very local and familiar. We like being in this neighborhood.
