Arkasolar

Arkasolar is based at 114 on 5th Model House Street in Basavanagudi. It’s a nice, older part of town with a lot of character. We work with solar panels and related setups for homes and small businesses. Our office is a modest space on a street that’s mostly residential. We chose this spot because it’s quiet and easy for us to focus. We spend a lot of our time out at installation sites, but 114 is where we do all the planning and paperwork. It’s not a big corporate headquarters. It’s just a place where we keep our tools and samples. Most of us have been doing this for years. We like the idea of solar because it just makes sense, especially around here. We don’t do big sales pitches. Usually, people just come to us because they want to lower their bills. The 5th Model House Street has some narrow spots, so parking can be a bit tricky if you visit. We’ve gotten to know the people living around us pretty well. Sometimes we have tea at the shop on the corner. It’s a very local way of doing things. We just want to do a good job on every roof we work on. It’s steady, manual work combined with a bit of technical design. We usually close up early on Saturdays to spend time with our families.
