Being on Sadar Patrappa Road means it’s always loud outside. We are on the 2nd Floor at the 2nd Cross, number 41275. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving boxes. Aris Computers is right in the middle of that mess. We spend most of our time looking at hardware or trying to figure out why a system isn't booting up. There are stacks of motherboards and spare parts everywhere. It’s not the cleanest office, but we know where everything is. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep and narrow, so carrying heavy monitors up and down can be a real workout. We’ve been here long enough that the neighboring shop owners are all friends. We share news about what’s coming in and who is looking for what. It’s a lot of manual work, opening up cases and blowing out dust. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is a pain, but we have backups for that. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just find us because they are in the market already. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs. It’s just a small team of us trying to keep things running. Nothing fancy, just a lot of screwdrivers and thermal paste. We stay until the shutters go down in the evening. The floor is a bit dusty from all the boxes, but we get the job done.
