Our office is right in the middle of Chickpet at Sree Complex. If you know E S Lane, you know how crowded it gets. We are at number 6. It’s a small space with a couple of computers and a lot of maps and brochures on the walls. We spend our time booking tickets and planning routes for people who want to go on trips. Chickpet is always loud and full of people moving goods, so our office feels like a little escape from that. We’ve been here for a while, helping locals get their travel sorted. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to come back in an hour. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We handle bus bookings, trains, and sometimes private cars. It gets busy during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go home or take a vacation. We don’t have fancy uniforms or anything. Just us sitting behind the desks trying to find the best routes on the screen. The lane outside is so narrow that you can’t even bring a bike through sometimes. But people find us anyway. We usually have some old magazines for people to look at while they wait. It’s a plain, honest business. We just like talking about travel and helping people get to where they’re going. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and answering questions.
