We've been at 816 Chickpet DK Lane for a while now. You can find us on the 2nd floor, just across from where the old Kamat Cafe used to be. Most people know the spot. We handle bookings and travel stuff for people around the neighborhood. It’s a busy lane, so it can be a bit crowded to get here sometimes. We spend most of our day on the phone or working out schedules for trips. It isn’t a fancy office with big signs, but we get the work done. People come in to ask about bus tickets or planning a small family trip out of town. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it goes here. We started out small and stayed that way because we like knowing the people who walk through the door. If you’re coming by, look for the stairs near the cafe spot. We usually have some tea around if someone drops in to talk about their travel plans. It's just a regular office where we try to keep things moving. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people telling their neighbors about us. Chickpet is always loud but once you get up to the second floor, it’s a little quieter. We’re here most days from morning until late evening. It’s a lot of work but it's okay when we see people head off on their holidays. We just do the paperwork and hope the buses run on time.
