We are based at No 145/3 on the 3rd Cross of the New Timber Yard Layout. This is just off the main Mysore Road. The air in this area usually has a strong smell of fresh wood because of all the timber businesses around us. It is a very busy and industrial part of the city. We handle import and export work, so our space is frequently filled up with large crates and wooden boxes waiting to be shipped out. Mysore Road is known for its heavy traffic, and getting our trucks in and out can be a real challenge on some days. Our building is a simple structure that we use for storage and a bit of office work on the side. We do not have any bright signs or a fancy entrance to show off. We have a small crew that takes care of the heavy lifting and all the necessary paperwork. It involves a lot of time spent tracking orders and making sure all the customs details are correct. We drink plenty of tea to keep ourselves going during the long afternoon hours. The layout can get quite dusty, and you can always hear a truck reversing somewhere nearby. We have been here for a good number of years now and have watched the area change. It is a gritty part of town, but it works well for our business. We just deal with the daily grind and try to keep things organized.
