Way out in Kalyan Nagar, specifically the Warje Malwadi area at number 723, you’ll find us. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s quieter out here than in the center of the city. We have a decent space for Archon Consulting Systems Pvt Ltd. It’s mostly just a large open room where we all sit together. There’s no big corner office for the boss; we just pull up a chair wherever there is space. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we bought it over several years as we needed it. We spend our days talking through systems and trying to find where things are going wrong for the people we help. It involves a lot of reading through thick documents and looking at spreadsheets until our eyes get tired. We have a small balcony where we keep a few dying plants and where people go to get a bit of sun. The water cooler makes a loud glugging sound every twenty minutes, which is the main rhythm of our afternoon. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just some instant stuff and a kettle that takes forever to boil. It’s a practical environment. We focus on the task at hand and don't spend much time on fluff. It’s just work, and we try to do it as clearly as we can without any unnecessary drama. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a report, but we usually try to head out before the traffic gets too bad.
