We run this little gift shop on the first floor near the Vijaynagar Bus Stand. It’s a good location because there’s always people walking by to catch their bus or coming home from work. We have all sorts of cards and small things for birthdays and anniversaries. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside when we get more than five people at once, but we make it work. Most of the time it’s just me and my sister behind the counter. We’ve been here in Pimple Gurav for a while now, and we know most of the regulars who stop in for a last-minute card. Sometimes we get kids coming in just to look at the toys and gadgets, which is fine as long as they don't break anything. The shelves are always full, maybe a bit too full sometimes, but we like having variety. It’s nice seeing people pick out something that makes them smile. We don’t really do any big promotions or anything. People just know we’re here by the bus stand. The lighting in the back corner is a bit dim, but we haven't gotten around to fixing that bulb yet. Life gets busy, you know. We’re open most days unless there’s a family thing going on. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us connected to the neighborhood. Just look for 1317 and 1318 on the first floor.
