Aramex India Pvt Ltd has an office at No. 30, Nanda Krishna, on the 2nd floor. We are on 1st Cross in the Chikka Vankadappa Layout, which is part of Dodda Bommasandra in Bangalore. If you come by, you will see a lot of boxes and delivery vans parked nearby. This isn't a quiet place. There is always someone lugging a package up the stairs or scanning labels. We spend most of the day tracking shipments and trying to figure out the best routes through Bangalore's messy traffic. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some computers that are always on and a lot of tape dispensers lying around. It can get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we usually get it sorted out by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy reception area with flowers; we have a counter where people drop off their parcels. It is a busy environment where the phone rings a lot with people asking where their stuff is. We just tell them the truth based on what the screen says. It is a practical business about moving things from one place to another. We aren't trying to be anything other than a hardworking local branch. Most of the guys here know the local streets by heart because they spend so much time out there. We just keep the boxes moving day after day.
