People often have trouble finding us at first because Zanant Nagar in Old Hubli can be a bit of a maze if you aren’t from around here. Being in Karnataka state, we deal with the usual weather, which means it’s either very dusty or very wet depending on the month. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a solid building where we get our work done. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at paperwork. There are a few desks pushed together and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It stays pretty busy throughout the morning. By the time the afternoon heat hits, things slow down just a little bit. We see a lot of the same faces coming by the street every day. Most of the staff has been here for a while, so we know where everything is kept, even if the filing system looks a bit messy to an outsider. We don't spend much on decorations or anything like that. It’s just a practical place for us to handle the business side of things. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, especially with the buses and autos honking, but you get used to it after a week or two of working here. We just try to stay organized and keep moving through our tasks until it's time to head home.
