Aquadine Restrurant

Aquadine Restrurant is located over in Vidyanagar, Davanagere. Specifically, we are at 1960/16 on the 1St Main, 1St Cross in Vinayaka Extension. It’s a local spot where we spend most of our time in the back kitchen. The whole place smells like spices and fried food most of the day and night. We have a few tables and some plastic chairs for people to sit, but it’s not a huge fancy dining hall. It’s just a neighborhood restaurant where folks from Karnataka come to eat a quick meal. The 1St Main street gets quite busy in the evenings with people walking around and bikes passing by. We start early in the morning getting the ingredients ready from the market. Davanagere has its own style of cooking and we try to fit in with that as best as we can. The kitchen gets really hot during the lunch rush, and sometimes we run out of certain dishes if it’s a lucky day for us. We don't have a big menu with hundreds of items, just the stuff we know how to cook well for the regulars. Most of our customers are people who live right here in Vinayaka Extension or work nearby. We’ve known some of them for years and they know our families too. It’s just us serving food and cleaning up the tables afterward. No fancy uniforms or anything, just plain shirts and aprons. We like the noise of the street.
