Appcode Technologies

Girinagar is a nice part of Bangalore, and our office is located right on the Police Station Main Road. We are at No. 991 on the 8th Cross. Having the police station nearby makes the area feel pretty safe, though the road can get quite crowded with parked cars and people moving about. Appcode Technologies isn't a giant software firm with hundreds of employees. We are a smaller group working out of this space. The office has a few rows of desks and a small corner where we keep the kettle for coffee and tea. We spend a lot of hours staring at screens and typing. It’s not very glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just try to write code that works and finish our projects on time. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is approaching, and other times we leave a bit early if the work is done. The 8th Cross is a familiar spot for us now. We know where the best snacks are and which days the trash pickup happens. It’s a very normal, local way of working. We don't use a lot of big words to describe ourselves. We are just people who know how to build apps and websites, sitting in an office in Girinagar. It’s a practical life.
